What's Wrong With Me, originally released in Fall 2000, is Lee Wadlinger's second solo album. Recorded entirely on location
in his Hudson, Ohio basement, WWWM showcases an eclectic batch of songs bearing heavy Beach Boys and Guided By Voices
influences. This "Generation-Y Teenage Symphony to God" begins with the instrumental, "Intro (Three Weeks Without Human
Contact)," which is essentially akin to an extended lo-fi, Ohio version of the intro to "California Girls." Whether it's the acoustic
pop-rock of "Metro Essential Rock" and "Song For Myself," or the overdriven rawness of "Hudson Bop VII" and "Still Flippin' Out
For You," the 41-minute album never ceases to keep you on your toes (which hopefully are tapping throughout).
Next Best Records is re-releasing WWWM in May 2007 via various online music services, including iTunes, Napster, Sony
Connect, Yahoo!, and Zune. A sampling of songs from the album are available on Wadlinger's MySpace Site.
